Music is God's gift to man, the only art of Heaven given to earth, the only art of earth we take to Heaven.


Archbold United Methodist Church is very blessed with many dedicated people who love to praise and worship the Lord through their gifts of music. There are opportunities for all ages to participate in music activities and to share their musical talents during worship as vocalists and/or instrumentalists! BELOW ARE THE SOME OF THE WAYS YOU CAN SHARE YOUR MUSICAL GIFTS BY PARTICIPATING IN AUMC MUSIC MINISTRIES!

  • CHANCEL CHOIR

    The Chancel Choir is open to anyone JH/HS age to adult who loves to sing! The choir sings 2-3 Sundays a month and rehearses Tuesday evenings and Sunday mornings in the sanctuary from September through May.  

  • bELL cHOIR

    The Bell Choir is open to anyone HS age to adult who has a desire to ring bells, however, some basic music reading ability is required. The Bell Choir rings one Sunday a month and rehearses Tuesday evenings and Sunday mornings in the sanctuary from September through May.


  • CHILDREN'S MUSIC ministry

    The AUMC children sing for worship usually once in the fall, and sometimes on Palm Sunday and Mother's Day. The children also present the annual Christmas Pageant during worship in December. 

  • Ministry of Music

    Ministry of Music is an opportunity for vocalists and instrumentalists to share their God-given talents at AUMC. Those who wish to participate perform music during worship services. During the summer months we have Ministry of Music every Sunday. From September through May instrumentals and vocalists perform as needed for worship and other special occasions.
